Members have access to affordable coverage for trip cancellations, interruptions and more. Trip Cancellation and Interruption Travel Insurance helps protect you against unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from travelling or from completing a trip as planned.
Plan details
- This plan covers you for an unlimited number of trips throughout the policy year.
- Coverage for trip cancellation, interruption or delay is included, up to $12,000 per insured, per trip.
- Coverage for lost, stolen or damaged baggage and personal effects is included, up to $1,500 per insured (to a maximum of $3,000 per family).
- Coverage of up to $400 per insured (to a maximum of $1,000 per family) is included to buy necessities, if your luggage is delayed.
- Document replacement is included, up to $200.
- Coverage is available if you are unable to travel or have to interrupt your trip due to you or your travel companion contracting COVID-19.
Premium
The premium is based on the age of the member. You can make a one-time payment or pay in monthly installments. When applying after commencement of the policy year, the premium will be pro-rated from the effective date to the expiry date.

For Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador, Manitoba, Quebec and Saskatchewan residents, Retail Sales Tax is payable on the total premium. Tax is not applicable in all other provinces.
