Essential Duties:
– Instruct/assist members in creating and painting their sculptures.
– Set up the room before members arrive, and clean/tear it down at the end of classes.
– Provide members with accessibility support such as guiding them around the studio space, preparing refreshments, and ensuring their safety and access needs are met.
– Communicate with and assist volunteers in teaching members how to sculpt.
– Establish positive, supportive, and respectful interactions with members.
– Become knowledgeable about clients’ interests, unique abilities, and support needs.

Qualifications:
– Experience working in the social services sector and/or with individuals experiencing vision loss is preferred.
– Artistic experience, particularly in sculpting, painting, and/or art instruction, is an asset.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team and to take from Executives.
