Researchers at the University of Toronto are trying to understand the relationship between sitting time and cognitive function in breast cancer survivors and age-matched, healthy individuals.
Who Can Participate?
Adults over the age of 65 who are/have:
–Been diagnosed with breast cancer
–At least two years post primary treatments (surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy)
OR
–Cancer-free (will be matched with a breast cancer survivor based on age and education)
*Access to internet and a computer device with camera is required.
What Does It Involve?
3 Assessments:
–Cognitive Measures via Videoconferencing
–Questionnaire
–Wearing a small, lightweight activity monitor device for 7 days.
Time commitment for the study is approximately 2 hours.
All assessments will be virtual, meaning you can participate from home!
You will be compensated $10 for your participation after completion of all assessments.
