Help K-8 Teachers and Kids from the comfort of home

A Kids’ Guide to Canada – Un guide du Canada is a bilingual national K-8 school project that connects teachers and classes across Canada to help kids build intercultural understanding and respect. This year, dealing with covid19 has caused many of our teacher volunteers to step back, so we’re looking to retired teachers for help!

We urgently need people who have a couple of hours to help with tasks like sending out prepared emails to new participants, copying and pasting info to a spreadsheet, helping organize cool class activities, and our biggest need right now: editing French translations we’ve created to help connect French classes across the country. NO FANCY TECH SKILLS are NEEDED, just a computer with internet service, and everyday internet skills.

It’s a great group of teachers to work with – please consider joining us to help support teachers working in the trenches this year, and help kids make Canada a better place for all.
