Becoming a Crew Leader with Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area (Habitat GTA) is a rewarding opportunity that requires no prior building experience. Our skilled Site Supervisor provides onsite training, ensuring that you are equipped to lead volunteers in the construction of affordable homes. Here’s what you need to know:
Training and Equipment:
No prior building experience is necessary.
Onsite training is provided by our skilled Site Supervisor.
All necessary Personal Protective Equipment is available for volunteers.
Scheduling and Commitment:
Building occurs year-round, Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Shifts are self-scheduled through convenient online registration.
We request a commitment of two shifts per month for the Crew program.
