RTOERO responds to 2021 budget consultations

As part of our advocacy efforts, we respond to provincial and federal consultation opportunities. We recently submitted responses to budget consultations for the federal government and three provinces: Ontario, Manitoba and New Brunswick.

Our responses align with our key advocacy issues: national seniors strategy, geriatric healthcare and environmental stewardship.

We covered a range of topics, including:

  • The need for universal pharmacare
  • Support for aging in place
  • National standards for long-term care
  • Common recycling standards
  • Safe water supply
