For 2026, members will pay no more than $80 for their annual membership fee. Current members whose 2025 fee was less than $78.50 will see an inflationary increase of 2% – which is equivalent to the annual inflationary increase for pensions in 2026.
Entente Education Canada continues to offer free membership until retirement – or in the first year of joining for those who are already retired.
Members with coverage through the Entente Plus Group Insurance Program are not required to make a payment for their annual membership fee. Instead, the membership fees for Entente Plus plan participants will be covered by income from long-term investments funded by insurance premiums.

If you are not a member of the Entente Plus Group Insurance Program, you will receive a notice by email or mail of payment for your 2026 membership fee.
If you are a member of Entente Plus, you will not receive a notice as you are not required to make a payment for your membership fee.

The $80 maximum fee for 2026 was determined through analysis of the cost of programs and services that our members value. The fee allows us to sustain and expand our member benefits.

No. The membership fee is financed from our long-term investments for all participants of the Entente Plus Group Insurance Program so you will not be required to make a payment.
No. Our membership gives members access to many programs, services and benefits. So, membership fees are not eligible for tax deduction. You will receive an email receipt confirming payment of your membership fee.
