The dairy education program is celebrating its 30th anniversary! Join this dynamic team of educators who help students learn about the origins of their food and to make food choices to fuel their bodies and minds.
Dairy educators are responsible for the promotion, coordination, and implementation of the local dairy education program. Program elements include live school presentations to elementary level students on various dairy-related topics as well as community events. All lessons and resources are provided.
The dairy education program offers competitive compensation, a flexible work schedule and makes an ideal supplemental income opportunity. It is anticipated the dairy educator will work 3-4 days per week during school hours from September to June. Professional development and community event opportunities exist during July and August. Dairy Farmers of Ontario fosters a healthy work-life balance and family-first focus.
