Volunteer Tutors Needed for Community-Based Program

ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT HAVING A POSITIVE IMPACT IN THE LIVES OF TODAYS YOUTH!!

Pathways to Education is a community-based program designed to reduce poverty and its effect by lowering the dropout rate among high-school students from economically disadvantaged communities. The program offers various supports in order to increase their opportunity for success in high-school and beyond. The role of the Pathways Tutor is to provide academic support and to engage in positive role modeling for youth during after-school programing time.

Volunteers contribute greatly to students adjusting through high-school in a healthy way, succeeding academically, and growing socially. Volunteers also benefit the growth of the community, by ensuring the success of youth and have an opportunity to gain experience on how to interact with youth and become a positive role model in young people’s lives.

Due to Covid-19 safety protocols, our tutoring program will be virtual until further notice.
