What’s Required?
• Vulnerable Sector Check (volunteer fee to be determined by local police)
• Health Screening (Tuberculosis screening, immunity screening for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella) – volunteer’s cost will vary based on their personal physician’s fee schedule
• Two references
• Completion of online education courses as assigned by Mackenzie Health
• Onsite orientation and training
• Successful candidates will purchase a uniform ($15-30)
Note: Screenings are required only AFTER you have been offered a volunteer placement.
