After school help is needed for children who have missed school time due to illness and treatment. Tutors are all educators and work with children in the family home weekly. A flexible schedule is developed between the tutor and family that allows for holidays such as winter getaways, etc. Some tutors continue for all or part of the summer.
The Childcan Volunteer Tutoring Program serves all children who have been diagnosed at the London Children’s Hospital. Check out this wonderful grassroots organization at www.childcan.com
