Hello Friends! My name is Anna Blarowska OCT, and I’m a retired FSL teacher. For the last 15 years, we’ve been helping various causes and charitable agencies in Poland, Cuba, and Ukraine. Being Refugees ourselves from the totalitarian regime in Poland it was quite natural to take action and help these nations. First was Cuba, 15 years ago after travelling there first time, we decided to help the struggling families.
For my last 12 years, I have taught at Ukrainian Heritage School and observed refugee children joining our school community. The decision to help Ukraine was obvious.
The needs are overwhelming, so we decided to cook Eastern European food to raise funds. Pierogies, cabbage rolls, crepes, croquettes, and salads, to name a few.
