Researchers at Laurentian University are inviting adults aged 50 and older to take part in a study exploring oral language in everyday communication tasks. This study is part of a larger research project examining oral language in bilingual (French-English) and monolingual adults (50+) living in Ontario.
This study is being conducted by students in Speech-Language Pathology, under the supervision of Professor Sophie Laurence.
Who can participate?
We are currently seeking individuals who are:
– Aged 50 or older
– Monolingual English speakers
– Living in Ontario
What is involved?
– One virtual session (approx. 1 hour) via Zoom
– Communication tasks such as: Describing three pictures, engaging in conversation, telling a familiar story, describing a sequence of images.
– No preparation required
