Inspire future generations!
As a Humane Education volunteer, you would deliver presentations (60 minutes in length) to classrooms in local schools. These presentations are intended to foster empathy and promote a sense of responsibility within the community, inspiring a connection with animals.
AnimalSmart™ presentations take a student-centred approach, aiming to foster meaningful conversations about animals through discussions, videos, and activities with curriculum connections. AnimalSmart volunteers are required to be available a minimum of once a month for presentations, weekdays (Monday-Friday) either in the morning (9 am-12 pm) and/or afternoon (12 pm-4 pm).
