Does the opportunity to explore history with young students in a rural, living history museum sound intriguing to you? Westfield Heritage Village, located in Rockton, Ontario, is now hiring for the position of Historical Interpreter (Museum Educator – School Programs).

In this role, you will join the education program team in leading student groups in interactive, hands-on, educational programs. Working within the site’s historic buildings and natural areas, this position involves demonstrating and exploring aspects of 19th century daily life in what is now known as Ontario. Interpreters are provided with authentic period clothing, ongoing training, and support. This position is on an “as required” basis throughout the year and hours can range from 0-30 hours weekly.
