A 40 minute ferry ride from Swartz Bay (near Victoria) to Pender Island. B & B By The Sea is located on the ocean in the Gulf Islands. Lots of wildlife including many of BC’s plentiful sea birds, seals and otters. Fortunately, Pender Island does not have cougars or bears so enjoy the numerous hiking trails in safety. Kayak and bicycle rentals, tours and lessons are available. Our internationally famous Disc Park is free. B & B By The Sea has your discs. Pender Island is Bird Watchers paradise. Enjoy eagles, osprey, sea gulls, owls, many song birds, otters and sea lions while lounging and drinking your wine on the upper deck. Use our BBQ grill or enjoy the Pub on the ocean at the other end of our harbour. Pender Island boasts both a Cider Mill and a Winery. Saturday there is a Farmer’s Market in the morning. Many artists open their homes.
