Researchers at the University of Toronto are offering an exciting research study opportunity for adult prostate cancer survivors. This study aims to test the value of an 8-week resistance training program to help improve treatment-related side effects.
Who can participate?
We are currently seeking individuals:
– Diagnosed with prostate cancer
– History of androgen deprivation therapy
– Engaging in less than 90 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity a week
What is involved?
– Remote delivery: all sessions and assessments are completed at home
– Two assessments: including surveys, a physical function test, and a cognitive assessment
– 8-week program: you will be randomly assigned to receive an 8-week remotely-delivered resistance training program or educational materials
You will be compensated $10 for each assessment for a total of $20.
